Not Much To Talk About

Wow, things have been really, super crazy lately and I haven't had much time at my computer. There has been so much that it would take me days to tell it all, but it's actually nice to have a break from not feeling as though I have to talk about it. I think I'll save it for another post.

I have actually had this horrible cold the last three days and today was the first day I felt fairly normal. Although, we did a lot of running around this afternoon and now I am plum wore out. I plan on kicking back and relaxing the rest of the night. Maybe we'll watch a movie.

I've been trying to take it easy and get myself over this cold seeing as I have a pretty big job this weekend doing the pictures for a wedding on Saturday. I am quite nervous because this is a job for someone I don't know and it's a bit exciting and intimidating at the same time. I sat today for about 45 minutes just typing out my check-list for the day. This is going to be an all day job and I think I'm pretty much prepared but it's still a big undertaking that I feel like I can't be prepared enough for. I love doing photography and the more I do it the better my work becomes (just in case you are interested you can look here), but stepping out in to the realm of the unknown is scary. The last wedding I did was for friends of ours. Knowing the couple helped take some of the pressure off. This wedding came about because Mike and Kimmy's Aunt works with the bride. Though I want this to be a side job that I can be flexible with what I do and how much I do, I'm afraid of getting in over my head. I don't believe that I ever will because I know my limitations. I guess I'm just simply nervous. I bet once the day comes and I step into my work mode, all will fall into place, just like every other time.

Enough about my rambling. I have to say I had the oddest of dreams last night. It was not odd because of the content, it was just odd because I don't know where it came from. It was about some of us in blogland, yes us bloggers. The Osborn clan, McLaughlin crew, Kim W., even the Shirey duo (and some other people I don't recall as knowing). We were all getting together for some type of cookout at Adrienne and Adam's house. That is the part that was so odd, because I don't really know you guys. And to top it off you didn't live out west, you lived near New York City. Actually, all of us lived somewhere that was within a couple of hours drive of the city. We were all sitting around talking about going to the city some time and going to dinner. It was just bizarre. It was one of those dreams that seems so real that when you wake up it takes a second to realize you were dreaming. I guess it's another one of those crazy things that pregnancy does to ya! It was a pretty cool dream nonetheless.

Well, I need to get some things done, so I hope ya'll have a good weekend.

Good Luck this weekend!

Yep, dreams are weird...I don't think Adam would live near NYC, but, he'd be happy to have a cookout.
