Easter seemed to really creep up on us this year. I did not even realize it was that time until exactly one week before. It seems as though it came early this year. It was extremely chilling in our part of the country on Easter so the kids and I spent much of the afternoon, after church, inside. We did, however, sneak outside for a quick egg hunt. Afterward the kids then found their baskets from Mommy and Daddy. Boy they made out on Easter. 7 Easter baskets full of candy and goodies were given to them and our family. Needless to say, we shared some of their bountiful blessings with others! ;)
My camera had to be sent of for repairs, unfortunately. So I did not get too many pictures on Easter seeing as I had to use my old one. Here is a little slideshow of what pics I did get to take.
I was also given this beautiful Daffodil from Mike's uncle, whom we call Pal. I love spring!! I wish these kind flowers bloomed all year round!

As I mentioned the kids and I stayed in most of the afternoon, but everyone else played Corn Hole and games on the TV. We then watched some very old, very embarrassing videos of my husband and his family from 1988! Oh funny stuff! Bittersweet video, as three very beloved family members are no longer with us. It was good to see them and be able to laugh and cry.

Every month, I believe, there is a food drive for those in need. The charity is putting together a website and DVD in which they will use some photos and video of such events. I came early to find people were already lined up and the doors were not even open. Once the doors did open, the front roomed filled quickly with many in need of food. It was so humbling and it blessed me. It was great to see our community coming together to help give to those in need. I never expected to be so touched by simply watching my community give back. I feel so blessed to have been there and look forward to helping more.

I have been doing really, really well since starting my medication. I had a follow up visit with my Dr. two weeks after starting them and he was pleasantly surprised by how well I am doing on the lowest dose. I have had a couple of times where I felt very anxious, both times while driving. It has only been a month, so I am expecting that over time it will get even better. I am so thankful for those of you who have been such a support and have offered up your prayers for me. I appreciate it more than you know!
Until next time friends...TTFN
