Man, I can barely move this morning. Every part of my body is stiff and sore. I worked out the day before yesterday and was sore from that, then yesterday I decided to rearrange our bed room and I am paying for it today. On top of that I think I have a bit of a cold. Grr!
My little man is still asleep. Don't ask me how but I have gotten up before him three times this week. I am waking like clockwork at the same time almost every day. This morning I am taking advantage of some "me time" to do a few things while it's still quiet.
As mentioned, I rearranged our bedroom and it's so much more spacious. I must say that it looks really nice in there. We purchased two matching side lamps for our room the other night and that is what sort of prompted me into the whole thing. The project took me all afternoon yesterday. Prior to starting our room I also rearrange our small counter top appliances in the kitchen to make room from our new spice rack that my hubby wanted so badly. Though the rearranging in the kitchen wasn't much, it was still a bit time consuming.
To top off my day, my husband brought home our new entertainment center. I am quite excited about this seeing as we've been looking for a new one for over a year. The problem is we didn't have intentions of beginning to put it together until later this weekend when we thought we were going to have more time. Well, because of the rain, the box in which it came in was very wet just from taking out of the car to bring in. We were afraid that the dampness would seep through to the wood and didn't want it to be ruined, so what did we do? At 8:00 last night we started putting this together. I thought, how hard could it be, right? Yeah, right. We worked together on this thing until almost 1:00 a.m. and it still is no where near being done. The main structure is together but there are drawers and moldings that still have to put together and the back is not on it. I figured out the hard way that Mike, nor I, are handymen. We were defiantly in over our heads. We hope to finish up tonight. We actually have no choice. We have to watch my niece and nephew tomorrow night and Mike is going to do the breaks on our car Sunday before the Super Bowl. Yeah, so there ya go. Just a piece of advice; if you, or your spouse, are not a handyman please do yourselves a favor and enlist the help of someone who is or at the very least give yourself plenty of time.
Well, I am going to finish up here and get a couple of other things out of the way since Camden is still sleeping. More for ya later.

Oh yes, things like that usually take much longer to put together than you'd think. Can't wait to see it... when it's together. I also really want to see Mike's spice rack.
You probably needed more pictures with your directions. Pictures help alot. As of this writing, are you done with it yet? Getting it out of a wet box was a good idea. See ya later.
I think putting those things together is very simple. I mean, how much easier could they make it than put item a into item c while holding item d in a semi-cocked, half-upright postion with item jt standing, freestyle, on its side? And then, if that isn't easy enough for you, can't you understand those little chinese stick drawings? Come on...they are made so the average rocket scientist only needs a screwdriver and 19 hands to put it together.
At least you'll be proud of it when it's finished!
