Let the sunshine in!

The weather has been just beautiful!! We have been enjoying the time outside just about every single day for the last couple of weeks. The kids have been able to let loose some of their pent up energy. I have got to bask in the sunlight, though I'm still as pale as ever! I don't think I can ever tan!

I took this photo of myself and I loved the sunlight. I just love the natural sunburst effect. LOVE IT!

I have been feeling really good. I feel like I'm finally getting back in to my groove and further away from the issues that have been plaguing me these past few months. Though not completely gone, I am feeling more and more like myself.

I've been unable to put my camera down! I have not had any real "jobs" for awhile, but I don't care. I am having so much fun photographing just about everything. I recently took some pics of my friend Stefanie's dogs. Her little shu-poo (?) Jill is so adorable!!! I just love her. This is a photography of Stef's big girl Heidi. She is a golden-doodle (I believe). She is ADORABLE!!

My sweet little girl has been just too sweet for words these days. I just can't get enough of this sweet face! I could kiss those cheeks all day.

Yesterday, I got a call from my dear friend Amy. It was like a breath of fresh air to hear her voice. And she made my day when she asked if I'd like to join her for a little "night on the town". It was just the nice break that I think both of us needed. I was happy because I was able to do a little shopping for my Merci-girl (who is in major need of summer clothes). After a little shopping we went to B&N's for some coffee/tea and great conversation. An hour flew by and we didn't even know it! We made one more stop and then headed back home. On our back to my house, we were just outside of town when Amy proclaimed, quite abruptly, that she needed to pull over. It was so unexpected that I thought maybe she was about to be sick. She shrieked and explained that NO she was not about to be sick but that there was a spider crawling around on her dashboard right in front of her. A few more shrieks and a quick stop, we were both out of the car searching for this uninvited guest. Amy quickly grabbed some papers and began smashing the dashboard and sweeping the dash towards my side of the car. Ha! I think she wanted me to take him home! We got our cell phones out in hopes using the light from their screens to see if we could find the creepy crawly creature of God. After no sign of him we proceeded on our way home, though both of us were imagining him crawling us. Every little itch I worried he was on me! It was HYSTERCIAL!! It made for a very funny ending to a great night out.

Well, I'm going to have to get my toosh in gear. I am working this afternoon from 1:00-5:00 so I need to start getting myself ready. I hope ya'll have a great holiday weekend. Until next time friends....TTFN.

Sounds like a great day. Nothing like a little sunshine to make you feel better. We are already hot here, ugh, trying to conserve electricity by not turning on the air yet. Luckily we spent the afternoon in the pool and came back in and it was not so warm in the house.

I am loving all of your pictures.

Blessings,

Elaine

Oh, I would have done the same thing if a spider was crawling around my dash board too...YIKES! I am glad that you are feeling better and I love the shots you took, especially the one of you in the sunburst. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.
