No time for blogging...

I have been so super busy...and yet again I can not tell you with what exactly! Do you ever have times in your life like that? Where it seems every day is full and you can not tell exactly what it was that ate up your time? I have just been super busy...with nothing in particular.

The kids have been really enjoying having the nicer weather. We spend a lot of time outside blowing bubbles, drawing in the drive with chalk, playing kickball and Bocce, and playing in their playhouse. Mommy really enjoys playing and relaxing with them. I am so happy to be in our home. I LOVE our home. I LOVE our yard. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the giant tree that shades our yard. I will really love our patio once we get a table and chairs out there. I LOVE our home! ;)

We've had the pleasure of spending time with some great friends over the last week. I enjoy visiting with friends and family. I love that our friends and family feel that they can just pop in to say "Hello" when they are in the area. That is exactly what happened the other day while I was chatting with my sister on SKYPE. (Which, if you have a webcam and know others who do also, SKYPE ROCKS!! But more on that later.) As my sister and I were chatting, my doorbell rang. It was my mom and my Aunt Pat. I have not seen my aunt since our move. And so she got to chat with my sister and then I took her on a tour of our home. I also had our neighbor stop by the other day. I went to school with her sister and have known her for years. She stopped by with her little boy and asked if I might sponsor her in a Walk for Life. We sat and chatted in our sunroom for awhile. It is such a wonderful thing. I love this time of year because I know we will have more and more opportunities to sit and visit with those we love. I can't wait to have picnics and BBQ's! YEA!

So I mentioned SKYPE. SKYPE is amazing!! My sister from Florida called the other day and asked if we could some how set up a video chat. She happen to have my great-niece for the morning and wanted to surprise me with video of her. So we were trying several different ways to set up our chat and found that SKYPE would be the best way to go about it. It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! You are able to make video calls to others who have a webcam. You simply add them to your contacts, just like an IM service. When call each other, it automatically starts streaming video back and forth. I was able to chat with my sister, completely hands free. And the best part was I was able to see her and my new niece Kylie!!!!! It was so hard for me to comprehend. Even though I've seen this on TV and heard about it, it's nothing like being able to experience it. I love that even though I am not able to physically be there, I can now have the experience as if I am through live video. My kids got to blow kisses to their Aunt and cousin and tell her all about their morning. I was able to watch my sister feed her first grand baby her bottle. Just amazing!! I will never stop being amazed by technology!! Oh and you can do snapshots, not the best quality, but still! Here are a few from this morning when we chatted again. Who needs the phone any more? This is way better!!

Geez...I feel like I blogged about absolutely nothing! I have had some things on my mind that I may blog about later on. Just some things that have been heavy on my heart.
