NaBloPoMo Day 1

Well, I think I am going to get this post in, in plenty of time to make it for the first day of NaBloPoMo! I am so very far behind on blogging for so many reasons. Mainly because my computer was out of order for about a month and a half. Some flukey thing happened and the inside of the screen became cracked. I have no idea how it happened but needless to say it did. So I had to call and have it replaced. Thankfully it was covered under warranty!!

I have been gone so long I would not be surprised if everyone who has been following me has given up on stopping by to check on new posts! My apologies my bloggy friends. But I am hoping that this NaBlogPoMo will be enough to get me back into the swing of things!

Well of course one of the biggest reasons I have been so super busy is homeschooling Camden. It has been so wonderful and I am so thankful, literally every single day, for being home with him and teaching him in our home!! I think this has been one of the greatest blessings thus far in my parenting. There are defiantly days where I am challenged but not any more than days that I have been challenged prior to homeschooling. I love the joy I see in his face when he takes a test and passes with flying colors! I love to see the excitement in his eyes as we do a new project. I love seeing him get excited when his teacher calls on him during his live learning lessons. Truly the best choice for him and I both!

Outside of schooling my biggest chunk of time has been spent preparing for and doing a wedding that took place on the 17th. It was a great wedding to photography. A young couple, the husband in the military. A great bunch of young people who made my job easy and so much fun! Here are just a few of my favorite shots of the day...

This last one just makes me smile! They were so stinkin' cute together and there were SO many fun shots, as you can see. Those were just a few of the fun pics that I took. The weather was not very nice, cold and dreary. Otherwise we could have gone outside and got some wonderful shots at this beautiful monument just around the corner from where the wedding took place. The pics still turned out great!

And of course there was trick or treating just this weekend. My kiddos had so much fun going with their friends to a local shopping plaza to trick or treat. They got to meet lots of characters like Spongebob, Elmo, and Dora. We spent time with some great friends and all gathered afterwards for pizza. It was a beautiful night too! In Ohio, the weather each year just varies so much that you have to be prepared for just about anything, including snow. But it was in the 60's and sunny. PERFECT!

Too cute I tell ya! They were all so well behaved and got along. It was a wonderful night all around.

Well, I hear my stomach talking to me and telling me it's been awhile since I've eaten anything. I have been doing my best not to eat after 8:00 each night so I better get my dinner and then get the kiddos off to bed. We set our clocks back an hour last night and though it's only a little after 6, it feels like it's 10:00!! Time to get ready to usher in winter I guess. :P
