Things around here have been busy. Tis the season! We had two Thanksgiving dinners this year on two different days. I blogged previously about our Thanksgiving with my hubby's side of the family. The Sunday after Thanksgiving my family got together. The dinner went so well. I was apprehensive about going do to some family tension. All I can say is that God has such a way that is beyond our ways! Though I know not everything is resolved, the majority of the reason for my apprehensions were washed away in one conversation! My heart that felt heavy before going was full of joy by the end of the night.

Most who know my family know that we are all musically inclined in some way. All four of us girls sing. Singing together is something we love to do when we all get together. Half the time we can't make it through one song with out laughing and crying at the same time for the simple fact that it always comes together like we do it all the time (which we are lucky to do every few years!). My sister Cheryl plays guitar and piano and my sister CJ plays piano. My dad likes to act like he knows nothing about music but he can sit at a piano or pick up a guitar and start playing by ear. Makes me sick! Just kidding! At one point during our evening my nephew Jake had his guitar and my sister Cheryl had her's and they were playing some bluesy song together, just playing off of each other. It was great! Then CJ sat at the keyboard to play some Christmas carols and Daddy sat next to her and they began playing Silver Bells together. I tell you, it's moments like that, that I will NEVER forget! Priceless memories were made that day!
School has been going great for Camden. I don't want to boast, but he as of now has straight A's. Each of his classes keep a percentage posted for you child along with the class average. He has 100% average in all his classes except one which he has a 99.63%. Love my boy! He's doing great!
Merci wants to do school with us every day. I have bought several books and projects for her to do along with us during certain lessons. She loves to do things with Camden. Her attention span is not the greatest but we are working on it. ;)
Speaking of school...my monkeys are up and it's time to start school with Camden. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Stay warm friends. Until next time...TTFN
