Random thoughts

I keep telling myself that I need to sit down and write a real post. I want to. I need to. But time has been the real issue. The past few weeks have flown by like a blink of an eye. I seriously can't believe that we are into April already!

A lot of what has kept me busy is an art showing that my family and I did a few weeks ago. We've spent much of the past 2 months planning this impromptu art show. We rented a small little building in a very, very small town about 10 minutes from the hometown which we all grew up in and my husband I currently live in. Both of my sister from out of state came home and stayed with us. It was a real blessing to have them both here.

We spent each finishing pieces we were going to show and preparing the space. The whole thing came together so well. We could not have been happier with the turn out!!!

We've also been keeping busy with Camden's new fun...T-Ball!! This is the first group sport he's been involved in. It is so bittersweet! I am excited to see my little boy growing up and doing such things but I also feel sad that he is not my baby any more. It is so hard for me to believe it was 7 years ago that we found out he was going to be joining our family. Such a blessing he is!

We had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend! The weather here in NE Ohio was perfect! It could not have been any nicer! I think this was the first year in a long time that we didn't have rain and/or cold temps. The Saturday before Easter we took the kids to our local park for a community Easter egg hunt along with all kinds of of other fun activities. The kids had a blast!

We then came home and had family over. We ate, played Cornhole and Wii and enjoyed just being together. Easter Sunday we attended our friends church. One of my hubby's closest friends is a pastor and he asked if we would come and if my hubby would sing. It was a great service and it was nice to reconnect with our friends. We then headed home where we grilled out and our entire family took a 3 hour nap! That is unheard of in our home. Boy was it nice!

This entire week we've been busy! We've had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with some really great people and dinner with some new friends. We've played outside just about every day for the past two weeks. My kids have been worn out each night and have been sleeping so well...all that fresh air has done them good!

So that briefly sums up what we've been up to. I have been wanting to post a little more on a personal side but truthfully it takes too much brain power right now. I do hope to do one soon.
