I figured today that it's about time that I sit down and give a real post. I know it has been forever, it seems, since I have blogged about anything worthwhile.
The past month has been very crazy. Back on April 6th, I believe it was, my sister from Florida came in as well as my sister from Indiana. This has been the first time since last July that both my sisters where home. Due to several family dynamics, we really never had the chance to spend much time together, all of us at one time that is. To be quite honest, it was OK with me that it happened that way. I have been much more tired this time around in my pregnancy than I was with Camden. All the running around we normally do as a family would have just been way too much.
Speaking of the pregnancy, I have been doing well. I have had a bit of a rough time this time around. I was pretty sick with this baby at first, unlike with Camden. Even though I am in my second trimester and almost half way through, I am still tired quite a bit. One afternoon out and about can wipe me out for the night once I get home. I can no longer stay up past 11:30. My back has begun to ache already and my siatic nerve just makes my whole right leg hurt at times. The Dr. isn't much help, telling me that unfortunately it will only get worse. Yippy!! :0p We are scheduled to have an ultrasound on May 23rd. We were initially scheduled for the next Friday the 19th, but had to reschedule. We hope the baby cooperates and we can find out what we are having. I want to be prepared if it's a girl, 'cause we have NOTHING girly in this house (for a little one that is).
I am very, very happy with the wedding pictures that I have done. I have finally come to a place of excepting that it's OK to be proud of something you do. And I will say I am proud of my work. The program I use most often is getting easier for me to use. I mostly used Adobe PhotoShop but do to the high cost, I now use Jasc PaintShop which is a simplier program, but very similar to PhotoShop. I would love to one day own PhotoShop but it cost \$400.00 and up. I used it and took classes on how to use it when I worked at the Library. Maybe one day my photography business will be blessed enough so that I can purchase it.
Here is a good story for ya. By the way Kimmy, I meant to tell you about this today and some how forgot.
So when Mike and started dating there was a Michael Kidd who was living in Columbiana at the time. I actually knew his family, they lived around the corner from my family growing up. So needless to say when we started dating everyone thought I was dating the Michael Kidd from Columbiana. There was actually a girl in my class who was dating that Michael Kidd and was ready to pound me thinking I was talking about her boyfriend. I had to clarify all this by bring a picture of him to school to show her. The two Michael Kidd's could not be any more different. The Kidd from Columbiana is brod and dark and hairy (lots of dark hair and facial hair). My hubby, as most of you know, is nothing like that. The ironic thing is that the Columbiana Michael has a sister named Kimberly. It's quite freaky and only gets worse. So any way, fast forward to when we got married and the Michael from Columbiana got married as well and we all banked at the same bank. Thank goodness Auntie worked there so we could keep from all the confusion (except when we went to get financed for our house they first pulled up the other Michael). Well, when we moved to Salem we thought we'd escape the confusion of the Michaels. YEAH, Right! Columbiana Michael decided they were going to make this little running joke even funnier by not only moving to Salem also, but moved to East 7th Street, while we were over one block on East 6th Street. Yeah. So then, right before we had Camden, the other Michael had a son and guess what they named him? No not Camden, but Michael Jr. So now, we had three Michael Kidd's all within a block of each other. So fast forward once more to the present. I was just informed that it was in the paper that a Michael Kidd and his wife just gave birth to a little girl. Guess who it was? You got it, the Columbiana Michael Kidd. But the crazy thing is not that they had a baby, but the fact that they had a baby girl and they named her...Elizabeth. OH, yeah and my Dr. at Salem Hospital asked me if I knew or was related to another Kidd family from Salem. So guess who delivered this baby? My OB/GYN. So Columbiana Michael has a son and daughter named Michael and Elizabeth. It has almost gotten to the point that it's like they have got to be joking. They know we are named Michael and Elizabeth. Thank goodness we live in Austintown now. But, this weekend at a baby shower I helped throw, I had a few ladies I have not seen in quite awhile come up to me and tell me they thought we had just had another baby. Of course, seeing my belly they realized it couldn't be us. Confusing, crazy stuff.
Well, there is more that has gone on, but boring stuff. I think I'm gonna go get a glass of milk and some Oreos. I forgot how much I like them. I gave in and bought a pack yesterday, the first time I've had them in well over a year, at least. So here's to some yummy Oreos!!

If I go out and buy Oreos, it'll be your fault.
That is a crazy story! I have had something similar happen to me, though not quite as crazy as yours. Maybe I'll post my confusing name story today.
Oreos are so good.
I don't know if it would help, but, I had really bad problems with my sciatic nerve with Arielle and my non-caring Dr. told me that, "if I had a husband..."(that still burns me) to have him put a piece of plywood under my side of the bed because the firmness would help. I never tried that 'cause we're lazy and our bed is hard anyway. But, he did say I could lay flat on my back with my knees bent and push the small of my back down into the floor - that helped some. I found that scooting up to the edge of the couch as far as possible and then putting my legs over that was more comfortable and worked the same.
G'luck.
Wow! That is too funny. LOL
