We had a fun family project tonight of carving pumpkins. My hubby has never carved a pumpkin before and I made sure that we fixed that! I purchased three pumpkins this week for each of us to have one. Though Camden just helped scoop out the pumpkins, we spent the evening designing and carving each one. I remember as a kid carving pumpkins with neighborhood friends. We really do not get into the whole Halloween thing, but I love fall. Carving pumpkins for my family was never really about Halloween, it was about fall. I always saw it as a festive way to celebrate the season. Camden enjoyed helping with what he could. By the time Daddy and Mommy were competing to make the best one, Camden was off doing other things. Still, we all had a great time. Here is our end results.
