(Monday October 23)
I am sick of Blogger! I sit here typing this out in Word because for some reason I have had no success in accessing Blogger all day. I haven't had much time to even sit and blog but when I have I haven't even been able to log in. So
by the time I actually get the chance to post this there will probably have lots more to add.
Well, it's official. I have one last year of being in my twenties. Yesterday was my 29th birthday. I am so not afraid of turning 30, it's just so hard for me to even believe that I'm this old. OK, not that I think 29 is old, because by all means I am not old, nor do I think being in your 30's, 40's, or 50's is old. Old is a state of mind and that is what I'm getting at. I feel, in some ways, like I am still 21. I hope to always feel this way. I would hope that when I am 65, I feel as though I'm 55 or even better 45. Oh, and Kim I must tell you I thought of you when my sister, who is in visiting from Florida, suprised me with a GiantEagleWhiteCakewithWhippedCreamFrosting. It just so happened that is all they had available at the bakerey when she picked it up. Let me tell, I never realized how good that cake is. I can see now why you like it so much! It was tastey. I say was because that cake is now gone. You can't keep such a good cake around. Hmmm!! :0pOn Saturday my sister Deb and I packed up the kids and headed towards Mill
Creek Park. I am proud to say I got us to the Mill without getting lost. It was such an accomplishment for me! Any way, we first stopped at the waterfall just across from where the Mill is located. It was gorgeous! Then we ran over to the Mill where Deb got some good pictures. We then made a quick run over to Boardman for few things before heading home.(Wednesday October 25)
Today Debbie greeted me with a proposition to take the kids and I out to lunch and to my family's apple orchard, Haus Apple Farm. In between lunch and the orchard we stopped at my friend Bev's antique and gift shop in Ellsworth. I have been
telling my sisters about her shop for years and we have never made it out there. It was great to finally introduce one of my sisters to both Bev and her husband Jim. Bev and Jim are such great, down to earth people whom we love
dearly but do not get the oppertunity to see often enough. It was a perfect day.
Debbie brought along her camera and we took pictures of Camden at the orchard outside of the market with all the pumpkins. I will try to post them
once I can actually get into Blogger.
Merci is growing so much already. Just in the last week she has begun to focus so much more on her surroundings and she is even smiling little smiles. I can not believe how quickly she is growing. She will be one month old on Friday, which I can not believe.

Well for now I am going to go. I will pick this up ASAP.
(Saturday October 28)
OK, we shall see if Blogger will be sucessful in letting me post tonight. I figured I would just type everything up in Word and try to post once I'm done. This last two weeks have been crazy. It's been a good crazy, but still crazy. As
I mentioned my sister has been staying with us and so I have been busy spending most of my time with her. I always love when she is home and I value every moment we get to spend together. We only have a couple of more days together before she will be heading home. A couple of nights this week we have just spent the evening home hanging and playing games. Deb and I did get to spend a little bit of time enjoying dinner at Panera the other night. I have been fortunate that I have a very involved husband when it come to our children. Mike has 4-5 times now, watched both kids while I have gone out for a couple of hours. I value his willingness to do so. He is an amazing man that hubby of mine! :0) Every time I have gone out and left them both
with him they have been great. Mike changed his first diaper of Merci and gave her her first bottle while I was out on Saturday. Even though I am breastfeeding, I was able to pump some for him so I could be out a bit longer. I really appreciate that he gives me time for myself. Every mother needs time to herself from time to time.
One of the things that has come up while my sister has been her is our situation concerning getting another car. It just so happens that she and her husband are going to be selling their Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are only the second owners. They bought it off of my sister's best friend and her husband. The miles that are on it are almost all highway miles. It is a higher end model with leather interior and power everything. Long story short they are willing to sell it to us for a great deal. AND it just so happens that my sister will be needing to make another trip up north to help my sister Carol (who is in Indiana) with her new business, in January, which is when we were going to be looking to get another vechile. So we are seriously looking into purchasing it off of them. I would love to not have to go through the hassle of looking for a vechile. We wanted to find one this past year but got too frustrated with the search. We are wanting to buy something used that we can just pay out right for and not have payments. We are paying off our car loan on the Chevy as well and want to have NO car payments. I am hoping that this all works out as it sounds as though it will.
In other news, my nephew Matt (Deb's son), is going to be getting married in June. We are hoping to make it down there for the wedding. But the wedding is going to be held at this awesome mansion near them. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful place to get married. I would hate to miss it. Mike and I are really trying to work it out to make it down there. We both have gone to Florida before but never together. I am hoping this is the year and that I'll get the chance to see my oldest nephew get married.
Well, my body is aching to go to bed. I'm getting pretty tired so I am going to go for now. I hope you enjoy all the fun pics that I have posted. I'll be sure to give another update soon. 'Night all.
(Monday October 30)
Well, Blogger has let me upload some pictures, but not near as many as I wanted to. I guess I will have to break them up.
I just returned home a little while ago from taking Deb to our other sister's house in Salem. Deb's flight back to Florida is really early so our sister Cheryl offered to take her to the airport. I'm going to miss her greatly. Though I am going to miss her and was SO happy to have her here, I must admit I'm glad to be getting back to "normal". Tomorrow will be a day of cleaning and catching up on things I've been behind on since having company in.
We had the chance to go visit my Dad yesterday. He has been sick with shingles for the last week and been in a lot of pain. Yet again, my hubby offered to keep both kids. We were afraid of the shingles and the connection with chicken pox and the kids. So just Deb and I went up to visit. It was actually really nice to have our Dad to ourselves for the afternoon. He actually picked up a cake for my birthday as well as a bottle of wine. It was extreamly thoughtful of him. We left Dad to come home and have the best burgers ever from Ruby Tuesday's. WOW! They were sooo good.
Today we headed to the mall since it was a wonderful day. I had some birthday money and was on the hunt for a certain style of shoe. Of course when I set out to find something, I can never find it! So we just walked around and has some lunch. I did find an adorable 6 piece outfit I bought for Merci. I also found a bib that I just had to buy that said "I found my prince...his name is Daddy". I admit, my eyes weld up just bit.
Well, I'm am getting tired and my little princess is going to be waking soon. I'll be sure to try and post again. Good night my friends.
