I have been so busy this week. I can not believe tomorrow is Thursday already. I am in a wedding this Saturday and I am going to be busy every day between now and then. I am excited for Missy and she deserves to have a happy day! It's just crazy trying to get everything together and also work on moving (which I will save those details for another post, another time).
We had a monster rain come through last night. WOW! There was literally a flood of water going down our sidewalk in a matter of minutes. My father-in-law stopped for awhile and we were all sitting outside when it came down in sheets. We had to move our visit inside. My father-in-law had to make a mad dash to his car when he left (which was quite funny). Just after he left Camden looked out our back window and saw a beautiful rainbow. I of course grabbed my camera and tried to capture it. This was the best that I could do. It was gorgeous!
I enjoyed a lovely afternoon (th0ugh my head was in a cloud) with Auntie and Kimmy on Monday. We ended up having lunch a little place in East Palestine that I used to frequent "back in the day". I had a friend who, at the time, lived in East Palestine and we would go there for lunch some times. It had been so long ago that I had forgotten all about it. We made a quick visit to PA to search for some candy that I believe is nonexistent! Then we ended up back at Auntie and Uncle Frank's house for some pie and coffee. My chatting kept me there until after 7:00. It was a really nice day!
I got to enjoy the presence of Auntie on Saturday also when we met up at the Olive Garden in Boardman. We had the endless soup, salad, and breadsticks. I had a yummy, spicy potato soup (which could have had way more potatoes in it) and some Italian-style chili/soup. I enjoyed the salad most, as always! After lunch we headed over to Target and the Dollar Tree to pick up some odds and ends. Again, another nice visit!!
Well, my daughter has made a mess, something she is getting quite good at! I best be going to get those monkeys cleaned up and in bed. I hope to post again soon, maybe before the wedding. I will have to wait and see. If not I will be sure to post lots about the yummy food we will be having at the reception (Dutch Village Inn, so you know it will be good!). Until next time....TTFN.
