Vanished

I feel as though I have vanished off the web. My existence has been erased.

OK, maybe not so dramatic, but it has been too long. My laptop is going to cost $130 to fix. Yea, not too happy about it but what are ya gonna do? I will have to be with out the lovely laptop for a few more WEEKS. Gotta have the funds to fix it and right now all "extra" funds are being poured into the holidays.

Also, my hubby's car has not been running for over a week now. Very, very dear friends (Adam & Val) of ours insisted on coming over so that Adam could take a look at it. I excepted the offer knowing that my hubby is too stubborn to do so. What I did not agree to was Adam doing more than look at it. He fixed it. Simple as that, my hubby's car is running. And MIchael learned a great lesson. NEVER drive a car with power steering, without power steering. Yea, he knew it was going a long time ago. Months ago. He continued to drive it without power steering and totaled the power steering pump. Lesson learned. ;) A HUGE thanks to Adam and Val for their friendship and help. You know you can count on us any day!

Let's see what else?....

-Camden was sick for three days last week. Didn't get much accomplished those days.
-Still have most of the kids Christmas shopping to do, hope to have it all done by tomorrow.
-Have no baking done yet. Did have a bag of Snickerdoodles in the freezer for Christmas that have mysteriously disappeared.
-Having dinner tonight with my wonderful family in honor of the most wonderful mother/mother-in-law in the world. Greatly missing her today.
-Have two birthday party/get togethers this weekend.
-Should be doing laundry but instead I am blogging! ;)

I know this is a lousy post, but this all I can muster up for now. I hope to sneak back down later tonight or tomorrow and post holiday pics of the kids.

Before I close I would like to ask my readers to please pray for friends of ours and their family. My friend Tammy's mother-in-law had a stroke earlier this week. Things have not been going well and she is still sedated and was still on a ventilator until earlier today. From what I understand she is still not waking from the sedation. It has been told to me that this is not a good sign. If you could please pray for the family and for Sally (Tammy's MIL). This has been hard news for the entire family. Thank you friends. Until next time...TTFN

I will be praying... Good to hear from you again my friend.
