One of the biggest changes have been in light of my need to focus on taking better care of myself. I recently got a treadmill and was walking at least a mile every day. But with family in and and the craziness of it all I have gotten off track. So, along with getting back on the treadmill I have also been working my way towards eating more wholesome foods and organic foods. I am enjoying this WAY more than I thought. And eating healthier has already made me feel different. Less tired and sluggish.
Don't get me wrong. We have still had our homemade pizza nights and burgers on the grill. We are getting there. But my fridge has been full of fresh fruits and veggies. My cupboards are stalked with healthy organic/all natural snacks and foods. Our latest love is Nutella along with our Peanut Butter & Company White Chocolate peanut butter. I have also fallen in love with hummus.

This is one new adventure that I have been loving. Last night's new food was homemade whole wheat bread with flax seed. Hmmmm! It is awesome. I had it toasted this morning with all natural peanut butter with honey. Yum!
On that note, I'm feeling a bit snacky right now. I think some yogurt sounds good right about now. And I think the hubby and I may watch a movie. So, until next time my friends. There will be more new things to come. Be back for more...TTFN

We normally eat pretty good, but today was a really bad day, and I know I will pay for it tomorrow. We were at the fair, enough said....

I'm slowly trying to get back on track with eating healthy. I just got married and he isn't too fond of healthy eating (at least the veggie part) yet...but he's getting there!

It's awesome that you are eating more and more organic and whole foods. Laura and I call it a return-to-normalcy and hope to see many people going "back" to eating real food. Now I just need to get on your treadmill idea and then this fat banker would have it made. :-)
