Happy 2010...a post full of photos!

Happy New Year fellow bloggers! I can not believe we have started another year. More so I can NOT believe it 2010!!! It seems like we just had the Y2K worries and here we are 10 years later. Are you kidding me? Wow!

We rang in the New Year with the best Auntie and Uncley! Uncle Frank, Auntie, and Pal came over (which we try to do every year, as long as we are all healthy). We snack on finger foods and play games. Pictionary is our fav! We come up with our own things to draw and it gets really crazy! The night went by so fast! It was great to have them over and I'm so glad to start a new year. Here's to a WONDERFUL 2010!!!

Our poor puppy boy. He's not been doing to good and New Year's night he was having a rough night. He is not getting around well these days. I hate seeing him get old! I am glad he was with us though, to ring in the new year!

We also had a great time celebrating Christmas. We celebrated for what seemed like days! As always we spent Christmas eve at Auntie and Uncle Frank's. We had yummy Chicken Parm and lots and lots and LOTS of cookies. We sipped on hot cocoa and played our yearly Christmas gift exchange game. And as always we didn't get home until after midnight. Christmas eve is always my fav!

Christmas morning we always spend with the kids as they open their presents from Mommy and Daddy. I always bake Cinnamon Rolls or Sweet Biscuits. We have hot coffee and cocoa. I love our traditions! Their "big" gift this year was the Wii which we gave them early. But they had fun opening the remaining gifts. The rest of the day we spent at home. It was such a relaxing day and no pressure! My mom and sister (who is living here in Ohio for the time being and usually does not make it home for the holiday) came over early in the afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised to find that my brother-in-law was with them! He had driven in from Indiana to surprise my sister for Christmas. It was so nice having all of them here. I made a simple meal and the boys played Wii while my mom, sister, and I chatted.

The Sunday after Christmas my family celebrated the holiday all together at our house. We hosted about 23 people in our modest, small home. I don't know how we did, but we did, and comfortably I might add! It was so much fun. I was even able to get my brother to dress up as Santa for a few photos. He absolutely scared Merci. We had to pull Uncle Eddie's beard down so Merci could see it was him before she would even get close enough to take a quick photo. I put together a slideshow of my family's get together since there were so many photos! ;)

Lot's of memories, lots of love!!

Well that is my little recap of our holiday season. May this coming new year be better than this past year. May each day be better than the one before. May we all learn to love unconditionally, grow closer emotionally, and be happier than ever before!!

Until next time my friends...TTFN
