We we have spent our first official 48 hours in our new home. The first night was pretty much a crazy maze. We had boxes and furniture everywhere that needed to be moved. But by last night, we had gotten the majority of the boxes emptied. Mike went with his dad to get what was in the fridge and a few other odds and ends. Boy, let me say, you do not realize how much you really have until you make a move. I am still in shock at how much we have. Merci's room is pretty settled except the clothes that need washed and getting the decor done. But the furniture is all in and her clean things are put away. Camden's room is also pretty settled except the toys that he keeps getting out to play with that are all over the floor. Kitchen is pretty much done as well as the bathroom. Right now the biggest project is finishing up the small boxes that still have micellaneous items. We also need to organize the boxes of storage items in the basement and get a washer and dryer down there. We've made a lot of progress but we need to deal with the little things because that is what Camden finds and gets into. I've been so appreciative to those who have helped just by watching him for us so that we could get something done. Mike will be returning to work tomorrow and it will be interesting if we do not have these things delt with. Camden is such a well behaved child, but he is just a typical (almost) 3 year old. He is into everything that is on his level, which is just about everything that is left to be delt with. I don't think I've worked so hard to keep him out of things as I have these past few days.
Well, speaking of getting into things, Camden just pulled something off of the table in the dinner room and I had better go tend to him. I'll keep you posted.

Congratulations on your new home! Moving is always a very stressful adventure, but so rewarding once you get everything put away.
