Quiet Morning

I can not believe that I am sitting here typing away and my little guy is still asleep. I am quite happy about this. Yesterday he was up at his normal time but had gone to bed late the night before. This made for a cranky little guy off and on yesterday. I hope his sleeping in today means he'll be in a better mood.

We decided the night before last to be spontaneous and go to Niles for dinner. We ended up at Kahunaville, which Camden loved. We asked to be sat next to the water display, knowing he'd get a kick out of the dancing water shows. He sat for the first time in a regular chair and boy did he look like such a big boy. We then let him "play" a few games in the arcade afterwards and actually paid to drive one of the race car games. He lost interest real quick and wanted to move on to something else. He found a Wheel Of Fortune game and got excited. We had one token left which happen to be all this game took. It was a simple game and all he won was 6 tickets. You would have thought they were golden tickets by the way he carried them around. He was quite proud of himself.

I got a surprise visit from a friend yesterday who called up and just wanted to stop by. She came over and brought her bassinet that she said we could borrow for downstairs. Just before her arrival I had a package arrive UPS and it was Merci's highchair. Then last night my in-laws dropped of a couple of things, one of which was our baby swing. Our downstairs is now officially "babied" (if that is even a word). It's really sinking in how quickly she will be here. You can't help but notice when you look around and there is baby stuff in every corner. *smiles*

Though Camden is still asleep, I am gonna go. I guess I should actually do something productive while he's still sleeping. Hope everyone has a great day.
