How 'bout a nice cup of joe?

Boy do I love my coffee! I know some would consider me a sissy coffee drinker because I still do cream and sugar, but nonetheless I am a coffee drinker/lover. I look forward every morning to the smell of my coffee brewing and anticipate that first sip. There is nothing that compares to that first sip of morning coffee.
Well, enough of the coffee talk. So, I am so proud of myself because I am taking Elizabeth's advice and have been getting up early every morning. This has been a big deal for me because I have always been a night owl. Before getting pregnant with Merci my normal bed time was around 2:00 a.m. Since waking up last weekend and enjoying a few hours to myself at the start of the day, I've been bit by the morning bird and have been getting up. With the exception of yesterday (because I awoke to a horrific migraine that had me in bed the first half of the morning) I have been getting up around 6:00-6:30 a.m. I hope to continue getting up before my children so that I can have that time to do some things for myself and our home that are much more difficult to do when they are awake. I use to be found doing those things at night while everyone was sleeping. Things are changing and I must say I really enjoy this change.
I guess I do not have much more to say. I actually need to get to work on my friend's invitation for her son's birthday party. She asked if I would design his birthday invitations a couple of months ago and I have a few designs ready, but I want to work on them just a little more. So I'm off to work. Catch ya'll later.

Thats good its working out for you getting up early. I used to be a night owl a long time ago. I can testify that you feel better physically when you get in a routine of getting up early and going to bed at a regular time. Your body and mind feel so much better and you do have that time in the morning for yourself and to do things.
And in your case with the kids, it's probably a double benefit as you said for having time for yourself, but feeling great!
