Meet Cali

This is the newest member of our ever growing family! Poor Cali-Cat was abandoned near my friend Missy's grandmothers house. I guess just this week someone dropped her off and took off. She is declawed and fixed. Missy knew we have been thinking about getting Camden a cat since he's been obsessed with Tom and Jerry. Though he wanted a boy cat so that he could name him Tom, he was so happy just to get a cat. I was happy that we could give her a home. I don't understand how someone would invest the money to have her fixed and declawed and then just abandon her like that. She is sooooo lovable. The moment she stepped out of the carrier she was purring. She hasn't stopped except her for first meeting with Titus. Since their meeting though, she has warmed up to him and they now are in the same room together and she's still happy, purring away. I've been thinking of what to name her, when it came to me. Cali. She is a calico and I also liked the play on words with Cali-Cat (alley-cat). Also, one of my absolute favorite shows is Grey's Anatomy and one of the characters is named Cally. So there ya have it. I hope she settles in well, though it appears as though she already has. :0)
