Not too much longer

My stomach is all butterfly-like. I believe it a mix of excitement and anxiousness about our trip. I am more excited than anything. I think. ;0)

I have just about everything packed except a few shirts and shorts for Mike that are currently in the washer. Once they are done and packed, all I have left to do is make a few lists for Mike and I'll be set. I am so surprised at how quickly the time has gone. I am not sure what I am more excited about, the trip itself or my nephew's wedding. Matt is such a good guy. I have to correct myself, because I want to call him a kid. He is only 4 1/2 years younger than me, but it was just enough of a difference growing up for me to call him a kid. Now that we are all grown, I can't call him that any more. I can't wait to meet my new "niece". I am also great aunt to three adorable dogs whom I can't wait to meet.

I have a few errands to run today. Merci has her 9 month check-up at 1:45. I can not believe she will be 9 months on Wednesday. Our lil' ones grow way too fast. As of right now, both of them are playing in the playpen. For whatever reason, Camden loves to crawl in there with Merci and play. He plays so well with her. He needs to be reminded from time to time to be gentle. He just loves to make her laugh and she loves to laugh with him.

Well, enough of my rattling on and on about nothing. I need to get these guys dressed and ready to go soon. I may not have time to post again until after arriving in Florida. So until next time, happy days to you.

I love the look! It's really pretty.

We normally only use the playpen if we're going somewhere - but I had to work outside last week.

Evening came, and we brought it inside. Tytus wanted to get in because he had a toy in there, and Arielle quickly jumped the fence and joined him.

They were playing along quite happily until I heard these funny sounds.

Tytus was lying on his stomach and Arielle was, literally, jumping up and down on his back. Now, how's that for gentle?

My dad used to ask, "Do these kids have a brain in their head?!" Sometimes, I wonder!

Good luck with the trip! Don't worry about it and just have fun!

I like the new look of your blog too! It is very relaxing and peaceful! Yes, time goes so fast, Merci, Nine months? WOW! I really can't wait to meet her. Jackson plays really well with Aurora too, when she was younger I used to have to tell him to be gentle too, but they belong together now. I don't use a playpen, Jackson doesn't fit in one, and Auri always wants to be wherever Jackson is, so she wouldn't stay in a playpen if I tried. I do take it on trip for her to sleep in though, and my mom uses one at her house as a bed, but that is the extent of it. Anyway, expect your beautiful children to get closer and closer to each other, if they are anything like mine (and it sounds like they are) then they will be really good friends!
Have a wonderful time on your trip! I wouldn't even worry about blogging while you are gone! You should just relax and have a good time with your family! Pretend like computers don't even exist, until you get home anyway, cuz you know we'll want to see pictures!
Okay, have fun! Good luck at the Doctor's appointment, shots aren't fun, but she'll be fine. By the time we get together with our kids, she will be walking and she and Aurora will probably play together!
Love, Kristen
