Time For Another Change

I'm not sure what it is, but it seems when the seasons change I find myself changing the things around my. My living room furniture, my hair, my template on my blog. HA! Seriously, I do though. I'm not sure why, but it always seems to happen around the same time the seasons change. Ah, go figure.

Things have been quite busy around here. I'm mentally on overload with the upcoming trip. Every night I find myself laying in bed thinking of something else I need to do before I leave. It is now less then 2 weeks away. I'm excited by overwhelmed as well. I have 4 people to pack for and because we are all leaving at different times, I don't want to forget anything. Otherwise, I am so excited. I spoke to my sister the other day and she informed me that my future niece (in-law) isn't so sure that she is going to be happy with the photographer that my nephew picked out. He is the kind of guy who is easy to befriend and makes friends all the time. Well, I guess he befriended this guy and then decided that he would be their photographer and Cait said his stuff is kind of "cheesy". So Deb asked if I was going to bring my camera, DUH! ;0) Any way, she asked if I would be willing to take pictures as well and Cait was fine with that. They are letting the photographer know that there will be a family member there who will also be photographing the wedding. Yea! I'm really excited because I planned on taking pics any way but now I get to do it for real. They are getting married at a castle located right on the beach. The wedding is going to be outside, it's going to be beautiful.

Speaking of photography, I have to tell you little story. So you know how I told you all about the friend that I took pictures for her of her pregnant belly? I posted a few of them a couple of posts ago. Any way...she wanted to get copies made and she just used the disc I gave her of the proofs. She lives in Germany and was in a rush to get prints made before she left. So, she decided to just get them done at the local Wal-Mart. Well, when she went to pick them up they were not going to give them to her. They said they were professional pictures and that they needed a release from the photographer to give them to her. I about lost it when I heard that. After a lot of convincing, they did finally give them to her. I guess from now on when I give the proofs like that for the person to take them to whomever they choose to print them, I am going to have to make up release forms to give them with the proofs. It made me feel really good to know that my pictures looked that good that they were not going to give them to her. HA! Far from it, but it felt good nonetheless.

Well, I do not have much more time today to be sittin' around. I need to finish up some laundry and get Merci down for a nap. So, I'm signing off for today. Have a great weekend and to all the Dad's...Happy Father's Day!

miss you! i was reading an autobiography (lol) that we had to write in school in 7th grade (mrs. libb's class) and one thing I wrote was that i was glad I had Beth at church as my friend :-) and getting to know her better. Hey, I'm still glad about that!
