Wow, I do not know where time goes. Mike was off work for six days starting last Friday. Here it is, a week has gone by. I seriously do not know where the time goes.

During Mike's time off we've had the chance to really focus on family time. It's been so sweet to watch Camden and Merci's bond with Daddy grow. Camden has such an adoration for his father, I can't even begin to describe it. I watch the two of them interact with one another and it honestly makes me so proud. I have the most amazing husband and children. I really do. Daddy has started calling Merci "Little Miss Personality" because she is just that. She is developing this outgoing, happy, joyful personality! Any-whoo...Friday we took the kids to the Columbiana baby pool to go swimming. This picture of Merci and Daddy was taken on my cell phone (so it's not the best quality). We all enjoyed the relief from the heat. Afterwards we headed to Salem for a quick bite to eat and then to catch one of my nephew Josh's baseball games. After a 20 minute rain delay and a losing game we all shuttled over to Bruster's for ice cream. by that time it was pretty late so we headed home. Saturday we spent the afternoon at my mother and father-in-law's. We all gathered in honor of their anniversary which was on Monday. Not too long after we got home, my sister and her husband and kids stopped by the pick up their lawnmower that my father-in-law fixed for them. We visited for awhile and watched some of the CAVS game. Then Sunday was pretty much spent as an organizing, cleaning afternoon and evening. After a short run to the store, I came back to find my hubby going through things like a mad man. This has been a much needed time of organization, let me tell you! With two kids, it's amazing the things you accumulate. Through all of that, I was trying to go through some clothes that had been given to us for Camden that I had put away because at the time they were to big. As I went through them I found two Spider-Man costumes that Camden was thrilled to have. Side note: Camden recently saw the first Spider-Man movie and LOVED it! Immediately he wanted to put the costume on. He wore that thing all day, wanted to wear it to bed (which we explained he could not), and then put it on the first thing the next morning. I'm in a lot of trouble! I've been webbed more times than I can keep track of! Boy, do I love that kid! Monday we spent most of the afternoon in Salem going to lunch, an eye Dr.'s appointment for me, and 2 1/2 hours in Wal-Mart. Yea! 2 1/2 hours. That place sucks you in like a black hole. Needless to say we came home and just chilled out the rest of the night. Tuesday we spent just working through some OCD issues with Mike. I hate how it robs him of his life and drags him down. I felt so bad that he was having a rough day. I had plans to do a photo shoot with a pregnant friend of mine in the evening and we were to drop Camden off at Auntie's to stay the night. I told Mike to take the evening to himself and do what ever he wanted to. I think it was good for him to have some time to himself. After I got home we decided to be spontaneous and go out for dessert even though it was 11:30. We had talked about maybe going to a movie but by the time I got home it was too late to see the late show. So we headed out to Eat'n Park. There are actually quite a few places open 24 hours around here but that's where Mike picked. It wasn't too bad actually. I had a yummy Key Lime Cheesecake. Mike opted for the Peachberry Pie ala mode. It was a lot of fun. Merci woke up just as we got there and was such a joy the whole time. Though it was well past her bed time, she just giggled and made us laugh the whole time. We really enjoyed the time to just chat and enjoy our time together. Sadly, we realized that night that we had never done anything like that in all our 10 years of marriage...even before kids. We vowed to do it again. Our last day that Mike was off we spent running errand and just being home. Time goes by so quickly but over all I think we had a good week.
As I mentioned I did a photo shoot with my friend who is pregnant. She wanted some belly photos taken. It was so much fun, we laughed a lot. I also did a spur of the moment photo shoot with another friend of mine just the week before. I was really happy with how both of them turned out. Here is just a sample of the photos....

I have never done pictures like these, but I enjoyed it. It is a nice break away from my own kids or weddings. Which, speaking of, I have another wedding this coming July 7th. I am going to have to meet with the couple here soon before I leave for Florida. These next 3 weeks are going to fly by. I'm no where near being ready yet. AHHHHH! I could do a whole post just on that, but I won't, at least not right now. Ha!

Well, my baby girl is calling me to get her out of her prison (the playpen). Camden, by the grace of God, is still sleeping. So I think I'm going to go do a few things while I can. Have a great weekend everyone.

Isn't it amazing how busy you can be when "you don't do anything?"

I was the type to break fingers and blacken eyes if anyone tried to look or touch my belly...I was ticked at the baby shower that they even took a picture of me...(I was, maybe, a little over tempermental!) But, you do take lovely pictures!
