Ahhh, Finally! The weekend is here!

Boy this has been one crazy week, I tell ya! Hence, the lack of posts.

I can not even remember half the stuff that we have been busy doing, but it has been busy. I had a few nights where either myself or our entire family stayed out until late, very late. My kids have gotten to bed much later than their usual time. This has brought on fatigue along with the craziness.

Today is my little Monkeys birthday party that was supposed to be last week. But with colds among his friends we postponed it to today. All of his friends are coming in their Halloween costumes. He is so very excited. I did his cake last night and though it turned out alright, I am not as happy with it as I was Merci's cupcakes or Brooke's Hannah Montana cake. Here is a little peek...





Since we have had to stay with family, birthdays this year have had to be a little bit different. Having Merci and Camden's birthdays so close we've had to be creative in our party planning. Chuck-E-Cheeses was out of the question for Camden. It was too crazy for us. Having Merci's party there was a bad idea! So we are meeting a local indoor play-area where we will have lunch and play. I'm looking forward to seeing all the kiddos in their costumes.

After Camden's party we are coming home for a little rest time before heading out to go trick or treating with the kids and their cousins. We will only be trick or treating with them for about an hour before we head to the mall where we will meet up with the kids grandpa to trick or treat at the mall. Needless to say, I really will be glad to wake up tomorrow with no plans for the day! We have had so many days like today where from wake up until bed we have been gone. I like a balance between going and staying home.

Now the focus will be on packing and getting ready to move. I know that it will be here before we know it. I really do not know where October went!

OK, I must get going. I have to get the kids and myself ready to pick up one of our friends. Sorry for the lousy post! It's the best I could come up with for now. Maybe more later. Until then...TTFN
