I can not believe that it is is 2009! I must say that I am happy to start the new year.

It has only taken me 3 days to try to post. Between the New Year festivities and a cold that my daughter and I are suffering from, I haven't had much energy to do much of anything. Today has just been a day of lounging on the couch drinking hot drinks.
But...as promised here are some more highlights and pics of our holiday celebrations. Due to the amount of photos I have taken, it was much, much easier to just put together a couple of slide shows.
Christmas day we hosted my family for dinner. Everyone arrived at 2:00 and we leisurely ate and played games throughout the afternoon and early evening. It was a pretty mild day here in Ohio so the older kids were outside much of the day. (I hardly saw them!) All in all it was a nice day.
New Year's eve we had a few friends over to ring in the New Year. One of our friends brought their ROCK BAND game and we enjoyed playing for hours. We shared in lots of good food and leftover Christmas cookies. We "partied" into the early hours of the morning! Good times!
This is just a little slideshow of 2008 in review. Here's to a wonderful 2009 full of God's blessings and peace!
I'm sorry this is not a better "catch up" on our holidays. We have been so busy and now that I have this awful cold I'm not on the computer very much. I'm sure I'll have a much better post next time! Until then my friends....TTFN.

Great pics and post! I wished we could have stayed there to ring in the New Year!! I want a party hat! LOL!! So when are you gonna get Rock Band???
Hope that you all are feeling better soon. Colds are no fun! Stunt Man has a runny nose this week. Trying to keep everyone else healthy. So far so good. Great pictures & it does look like everyone had a wonderful time. Happy New Year to you and your family!
