Baby it's cold outside!

Since there has been much blogging about the weather, I thought I'd throw my two cents in on it all. I love the cold weather. I do have one issue though. It's the time of year that everyone gets sick the most. I hate that part! Everything else I love about winter. I love the snow and cold temperatures. I love curling up under a wonderful, cozy, warm blanket with a cup of tea or cocoa. I love watching movies in the dark snuggled under said blanket with my wonderful hubby. I love snuggling with my son when he awakes each morning, keeping each other warm.

I love the holidays! I am so excited that we are about to have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner provided by my wonderful Mother-in-law. She makes the BEST Thanksgiving dinner. I'm happy that this year we are hosting my family at our place for dessert in the evening. Our space is limited but there is something about being in your own place and not having to travel all over. That is the only part about the holidays that can be tough. Only since having a child has this become an issue. Camden can only take so much traveling and hulling around. So for this, I am very glad to have my family over. I hope to one day have a place big enough to host Thanksgiving. I love hosting gatherings, though I have never had much space to do so. I hope our next place we will have enough room to be able to do so! I have fond memories, what few I have, of my family's gatherings during the holidays at our home. I want to have those kind of memories for my children. I just can't say enough how much I love this time of year!!

I just thought this was funny!!

*cracks up* That comic is great! And it's so cool that we're all looking so forward to Thanksgiving and the holidays in general. I'm pumped. Even though the weather is far from likeable in my opinion, it doesn't hinder me at all from getting happy about the holidays.

It's just awesome that we have families we actually like! In-laws included. How cool is that?
