Many thanks!

I just want to take the time to thank all of you who have been praying for my family and more specifically my dad. These last few days have been a bit tough on the remaining brothers in the family. My dad and Uncle Howard are all that is left to the boys in the family. Dad, Uncle Howard, and Uncle Dick were all quite close. So the moving on part that is coming will be the hardest, in my opinion.

I realized tonight the value of family. I hate the fact that much of the time we spend together all gathered as we did tonight is under unfortunately circumstances. I love my family. I have cousins that I just love to spend time with and yet we never do. At least not often enough. I only have 3 first cousins and I never see them. I know we all have families and our own lives take away so much of our time. But I hate to see so much time go by in between those times that we do see one another. I told Mike as we left that we need to make spending time with those we love much more of a priority. Not that we don't love our families, we just need to manage our own families time better so that we can see our extended families more. I love my Uncle Howard and Aunt Eloise so much and yet we never see them. Even my own dad. I have to sadly admit that I have not been to his place since July 4th. Yet he has come here dozens of times since then, four times in just the last month. We really do want to work harder at that.

Well, I am getting quite sleepy and I need to be up in enough time to get myself ready tomorrow for the funeral. Camden is going to spend a few hours at Aunt Kiki's in the AM. I am looking forward to us also having the chance to visit afterwards. So to you all, I bid you goodnight for now.
