Weekend Of Nothingness

We have done absolutely nothing this entire weekend and let me tell you it felt good! It seems like the last couple of weeks we have been on the go so much and busy just about every day. So the weekend of doing was well...wonderful!

I have been able to take this weekend of nothingness to enjoy having cable. I have not watching anything worthwhile, just random shows and/or movies. Times like this make me very grateful that I broke down and just got it.

I am so looking forward to this weeks festivities! I will have a day full of shopping on Tuesday. I have lots to buy for the pie baking that will be taking place on Wednesday. I have to bake 3 pumpkin and 1 cherry. I am also going to try and squeeze in a loaf of my mom's yummy pumpkin bread for breakfast Thursday morning. Mike will have to squeeze in his apple pies in somewhere in between all of mine. It is going to smell so good!

I don't want to lose sight of why we even celebrate and gather on this holiday. I want to say right that I am so very, very, very (did I say very?) thankful for my family and friends. I am thankful for a wonderful husband whom I love so dearly! I am thankful that we have a wonderful marriage that just continues to grow and flourish. I am thankful for a wonderful son who is just the pride and joy of our lives. I am thankful that he is growing stronger and smarter every day. Most of all, I am simply thankful for my life. I am thankful for a God who as given me grace beyond that in which I deserve. For that I will be eternally grateful!

So there ya go, my thanks for this holiday. My all of you have a wonderful holiday week! My your belly's be full of turkey and your hearts full of thanks. Happy Holidays Ya'll!

Bless you my beauty . Your hair lays on your cranium so delicately . Your eyes showcase the glory of my reflection . Your fingernails scratch so well . Your nasal passages give permission to release some lovely nightly noise .
