Well for starters I wanted to thank everyone for a lovely Christmas. I feel as though I was blessed beyond what is deserved. I wish so much that I could have given much more this year. In deed, it was still a very wonderful Christmas.
I wanted to give a brief follow up for ya'll on how things have been going. I visited my Nurse/Midwife today and she gave me all the details of my bloodwork and ultrasounds from the last time, as well as today's. Everything looks great. All of my bloodwork, including my thyroid (which some of you know was being watched for possibly being off), came back great. The blood work showed my hCG levels (pregnancy hormone) to be at 2. When you are pregnant those same numbers are in the thousands. If I had miscarried a "normal" pregnancy it would still have showed the hCG levels in the hundreds seeing as I came in the day after everything happened. She is sure that it was the blighted ovum, which she thinks there may have just been a sac with no egg at all. So ... I am relieved to have been in to talk to her and have everything straightened out. She also told me that once I have had my first cycle that I will be back to normal and having another baby at some point should not be an issue. Wffff! *big sigh*
Well, I am pooped. I didn't sleep well last night and was up way too early today. So off I go to veg out.
