10 Year Old Treasure

How about this. I was cleaning out some storage boxes that were under our bed this past Saturday. I came across a box of old tapes and videos. Most of it was junk but there were a couple of things worth keeping. As I dug to the bottom, I found a small video that I didn't recognize. When I turned it over it read "Beth's Shower". I could not believe it. It was a video from my bridal shower. I, only once, saw bits and pieces of just after we were married. My maid-of-honor video taped it and she must have given it to me but because I never had a video camera to use to transfer it to a VHS, it has sat beneath all those other tapes. We have an old Hi-8 video camera that eats the tapes and so we have not used it. I thought I would try it out and see. I figured if started to eat I would pop it out right away. Would you believe that it worked fine? So I had to rewind it and I have it all set to tape off. I will finally get to see all of shower video after 10 years. I look forward to seeing all of my friends and family that were there. Also, I can't wait to see Michael sing to me again. As part of the shower, my maid-of-honor surprised me with Mike coming and he sang one of "our" songs to me. It was so very special to me. I just can't believe I found it!! Yea!!
