Today was a long, productive, and rewarding day. I was proud of my niece and nephew this morning as they got themselves together quite well and we were up and out the door 5 minutes early! I wasn't nervous last night because I didn't think I could get us all up and out the door. But if you knew my niece and nephew and their interaction one another...pfff! It's crazy! And my niece is ALWAYS giving her mom trouble in the mornings. I just had these awful images of things going crazy! But, to my surprise it all worked out and the kids cooperated. As a little reward for my two, once the other two were off to school, I let the kids have doughnut and hot chocolate for breakfast. What a treat! They were so excited and loved the little treat. By 11:30 both kids were beat and crashed for two hours!
After naptime I made us all lunch and then quickly jumped right into getting dinner ready for the Russell's. Having four kids running around an already small kitchen I knew I'd need to give myself plenty of time without feeling rushed. So I got their dinner all ready in the oven, got myself together, and took dinner to them by 5:30. Some how I even made it over there a couple of minutes early. I just loved getting to see that sweet little boy again! And his mommy is doing wonderful! I told Amy I was amazed at how well she was doing and glad to see her smiling and getting around. I'm sure the prayers would be appreciated as little Will David has his days and nights mixed up which has caused some sleeplessness for Amy. So, prayerfully he will get a good schedule going and settle into a nice routine for everyone.

Now it's time to answer some questions. So first I will start with Sam's questions from the other day.
Here we go...
1) Have you ever had sex in a car, truck, van, or any other vehicle?
I can answer this with an honest no.
2) How old were you when you had your first real kiss and what was the other person's name? I had a boy-friend when I was 15 who kissed me only twice through-out our entire 5 month relationship. And each time it was only a little peck. I would not classify either kiss as a real kiss. So my first real kiss was from my now husband. We began dating when I was 17 and he didn't even kiss for the first time until we were about 2 months into our relationship.
3) Name one sacrifice you made (or continue to make) since you got married. (Unmarried folk can answer the favorite color question here.) Every relationship, not just a marriage, takes sacrifice. But there has been no great sacrifice made that was not worth it. In all truthfulness I can't even think any sacrifice that I've made! I am very blessed.
4) Have you ever done any illegal drugs? Nope never have and never will have a desire to.
5) Would you (again) if there was no chance you'd be caught or get in trouble? See above answer. ;)
6) What profession was your childhood answer to, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I always wanted to be a teacher. There was a short period of time being a neonatal nurse but always really wanted to be a teacher. By high school though I wanted to become a psychologist and still wouldn't mind pursing that field.
7) How many people have seen you naked? I have no idea! With the exception of my immediate family, only a couple I think.
And Sam...what a wild variety of questions you came up with there!

And for the next round of questions from Kimmy. Here ya go...
- Describe yourself in ten words, ALL starting with the letter C. Christ-centered, Coffee-lover, Cool, Creative, Cautious, Crazy, Captivated, Communicative, Careful, Cheesy
- Describe in detail, your idea of the perfect vacation, including who would accompany you on said trip. Money is no object. Well money being no object, I would take my entire family to Disney. I love my kids and I know that there they could really enjoy themselves. BUT, during the trip there would be 3 day break for myself where I would go to a spa, drink lots of good coffee, and totally veg out ALONE. I know it doesn't seem much knowing money would be no object, but I'm not hard to please.
- If you could spend an entire day with a famous person, living or dead, who would it be? What would you do, and what would you talk to them about? Wow. I'm not sure. I've put a lot of thought into this. There are a lot of well-known people with whom I feel a connection with. Be it because of their faith or their family values. But the two people who continually come to mind are Keith Green and Michael English. I know they are both Christian singers but for very, very different reason I would love to share conversations with them. Keith simply because his music has made such an impact on who I am. And Michael because my heart has broke from him and rejoiced in recovery and return to Christ.
- What is your favorite Christmas memory/tradition? The year my parent got a baby buggy for me and hid it and made me play "hot and cold" to find it really sticks out in my mind. It's funny because I just had a conversation with my brother about this. We both just loved Christmases in our house because it was such a traditional home during the holidays. My mom cooked large meals, baked tons and tons of cookies, and I do not ever remember a Christmas where they could not provide our favorite toys. Though it was great memories I wish we had celebrated more the real reason for the season. I wish we would have centered it more around Christ. I am still very thankful for the memories.
- If you had to live on one food and one food only for the rest of your life what would it be? Chicken. Need I say more?
- Have you ever seen Sam naked? (See Sam’s post for details.) Ahhh, no. But with all the nights I stayed at their house with Kristen it could very well have happened.
- If you could be invisible for an entire day, what would you do? Where would you go? Would you tell anyone or would you just hang out alone? Oh to be invisible! Who wouldn't like to be invisible for a day?! I would probably spend half the day hanging out by myself. Then I would maybe travel around place to place just watching and observing people. And what fun would it be to tell anyone?!

There ya have it! I got those questions done and I'm ready for more. For those who may be new to my blog, a few of us around here participated in NaBloPoMo (see link for questions) last year and ran out of things to blog about every day. So questions started poping up on each of blogs to anwer as a way of passing the days as well as getting to know each other better. Even if you are not partcipating in NaBloPoMo you can feel free to answer the questions I post here. I would love to get to know you better as well!
On that note, I do need to go to bed. I wanted to try to get those photos up today of the heirlooms my brother and I were go through last night. I'm just too tired tonight to get it all put together. I will surely work on that for tomorrows post. So until then...TTFN

I am in for NaBloPoMo next year.. Great post. Glad you had a productive day. Can't believe your gas price, that is fabulous... I love taking meals....
I am just now finally getting caught up on my reading...
Glad that all worked out with the kids and everything. Hope all is good with the Russell's and their sweet new baby. Pray for good rest to them.
Loved your Q&A's,and so love this template. You'll have to show me how to change mine up.
We are all going to Disney together right?
In the motorhome:0)
Ok, jealous of your gas prices.
Loved the questions and answers very cool idea. Can't wait to see the Heirlooms.
Oh, don't you lie, Beth. You did spend many a night at our house and I am in no way modest, which means the percentage of chances you saw me in all my wonderfulness are better on the yes side.
And don't pretend you didn't enjoy it.
;-)
How weird... I always wanted to be a teacher, but also had a short time where that changed to neonatal nurse. I would still like to do something to help newborns, volunteer or something, but I am happy with my teaching career thus far.
Have a good weekend!
