It has been quite the weekend. We worked hard all day yesterday with all the big stuff arriving. We had a wonderful group of guys show up to lend their hands in helping. At one point I was surround by so much testosterone that I thought I might just go crazy! Fortunate enough for me Auntie showed up and brought some much needed female relief!
As of today I have at least 65% of the unpacking done. I worked hard yesterday and today to get things in order. I HATE living out of boxes. The biggest rooms to tackle were the kitchen and bathroom. Auntie's help made it possible to have both of those rooms done today. Basically all that is left is getting clothes put away and I feel like the rest can be done within a couple of days. Then it will be the Christmas decorations, including one special part of the holiday decor that I will have to wait to fill you in on!
Unfortunately I have caught my husbands cold! I feel miserable right now. I could go for a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup. Anyone out there have a bowl to spare? No? I guess I will settle for a cup of hot tea. ;)
Well, it feels good to be back and feels even better for it to be in my own home!
