Not much to say. Imagine that!!

Wow, for me to not have much to say is really saying something. I haven't had much to blog about these last few days. I have come out of the land of the ill. Fortunately that cold only last a couple of days.

I had today mostly to myself. It was a rare occurrence yet enjoyable to some degree. My sweet hubby had the day off and took his mom and sister out, along with Camden. That left me with the whole afternoon and early evening hours for myself. Knowing I had this time on my hands I had all intentions of utilizing every moment. I sat down to finish a letter I had begun last night. It was a long over due letter to a former teacher that I keep in regular contact with. I finally gave up and just called her and left a message summing up what I was going to say in the letter. In cases such as this, I must say, having a phone comes in handy. Otherwise, I'd love to rip my phone out of the wall. I then decided that I should go workout. I was so very proud of myself. I walked 1 and 1/4 miles on the treadmill. I walked a full half hour and could have kept going but I wanted to make sure I had time for a few other things. Now to some, 1 and 1/4 miles isn't much, but for this poor out of shape mommy, I had accomplished a huge task! I plan to walk tomorrow also and every day after. In speaking with my Dr., he recommended walking 30 minutes every day, to help in losing some weight. I found that I came home so full of energy. It was great!! I would love to have my own treadmill, but having the gym just yards away is very convenient. After my walk, I came home to take on the task of planning Camden's birthday. For those involved, you know what a task this truly is. I hope to have everything planned out and taken care of in the next couple of days. Before I knew it my lovely husband, son, and sister-in-law Kimmy came home. I was quite pleased to have at least a little bit of time to sit and chat over a cup of tea.

And here we are. It is now 10:45 and I don't know where the day has gone. It some ways my day was productive but in others I feel as though I didn't get anything done. To have that kind of time on my hands to do whatever it is that I want or need to do is just overwhelming. I missed having my boys around. I am so very grateful to have such a wonderful family.

Well, I think I am off to watch some more Felicity. I just love this show! I am on episode 14 and I believe there are only 21 in this final season. I only have until Thursday to get them watched so I'd better get on the ball.

Thank you again for the tea. It was exactly what I needed.
