Third Times A Charm!

"Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day!" That totally sums up how I feel this morning. I love waking up to a cloudy, cool morning. I've just finished up the last bit of hot, yummy tea and I'm waiting for my little man to finish up his breakfast so that we can start today's activities.
Well we were very excited that our friends, the Hammar family, had us over to watch the Steelers/Rams game last night. There is so much significance behind this because we haven't gotten together like this in almost 8 months. But over the course of the last few weeks, we have gotten together three times!! That's right, 3!! This is huge. As I said, in the last eight months we have not gotten together as families. For those who don't know, we've been friends with Tammy and TJ Hammar for quite a long time. We use to spend lots of time together but since having kids, we haven't spent nearly as much time all together. So for us to have gotten together like this is nice. Our kids play well together and us adults get some time to have adult conversation. I heard the game was really good, but in all honesty, I didn't watch much of the game. Us ladies spent time at the table just catching up on some long overdue conversation. The guys also were chatting away during commercial breaks and boring plays. It was good for us all around and when the night came to an end, we all agreed that we need to do this much more often as we have and hope to continue to do so. We live just 5 minutes from each, so why shouldn't we?!
Well, I need to prep myself to go grocery shopping. YEAH!! I love getting a full fridge, cupboard, and pantry. So I am off for now. Talk to ya'll later.
