Lovely Day

I had a great day today with my family. The rare occasion occurred today, we spent the whole day out and about as a family, though I had to convince my husband to call off today in order to do so. I don't like Mike just calling off for no reason, but for many reasons he decided to go ahead and call off. He had been feeling icky off and on all weekend and he truly did need the extra rest he got this morning. We called our doctor and asked him to call in our allergy meds for him and I both. So we headed to Columbiana and Salem to get all that we've needed to get. We were plum out of everything and I do mean everything. So we made our stops in Columbiana and headed to Salem. We of course ended our stops at Wal-Mart and spent more than we ever have in one store at one time. Half of our expenses were our normal groceries and what not that we were so low on. But we also had many "extras" that we've been wanting to get that we decided to go ahead and pick up. Camden needed a few odds and ends as well as we have been wanting to get new dishes and glasses. Needless to say it all adds up fast and Wal-Mart makes it easy to spend.
After all of our errands and stops we made our way back home for the night. We have for the most part settled in. Mike wanted me to try Westgate Pizza and so we just finished up and I must say it was quite good. It has a homemade taste to it which I enjoyed. I think we will finish the night off with a little TV, maybe even a little Gilmore. Yep, that's right, for those who are interested, my loving husband bought Gilmore Girls season 5 for me. He was so sweet and decided I should do so. So I am looking forward to starting later tonight.
Well, time to clean up the Cheerios that have been dumped on my coffee table. TTFN

I swear to you, Westgate Pizza is the one thing that maybe could have kept me in Ohio. :)

Glad you had a lovely family day and always fun shopping at walmart! Westgate pizza, I think I had it long time ago but will have to try it again.

I thought of you Adrienne when we were eating, honest! All I could think about was how you had mentioned in once and how I've been wanting to try it. My hubby said it brought back memories as he was eating it because the taste hadn't changed at all. *sending thoughts of Westgate to Adrienne*
