I had to take a picture tonight of my boys asleep on the couch. Camden was not feeling quite himself today due to a fever. He is cutting the rest of his 2 year molars on top and he tends to get a little fevered with those bigger teeth. He has acted pretty much like himself all day, until Daddy came home that is. For some reason he wanted Daddy all night. This was fine with me because it's usually me he wants when he's not feeling well. He played and snuggled with Daddy all night. He was pretty tuckered out when he took his last dose of medicine and fell right to sleep along with Daddy. I absolutely love when they have these kind of moments. Mike is such an amazing father. I am proud of the daddy he has become. I love the bond that they share and watching them interact is something I always enjoy.
I am hoping that his fever will break tonight like it has so many other times when he's been like this. The fever is usually short lived when it's his teeth, not usually longer than 12-24 hours. I hope that we both are able to get some rest tonight. It's hard for a mother to sleep when she knows her child is sick or simply not feeling well. It's not like I am getting much sleep these days any way. I am convinced my body is preparing me for the lack of sleep and late night feedings that are in my near future. So here is to a restful night's sleep for all and a fever that breaks through the night.

I too was convinced at toward the end of my pregnancy with Aurora that I had so many sleepless nights because God's was prepairing me for lots of no sleep after she was born, but I tell you what, I was blessed, she has been sleeping through the night since she was 2 1/2 months old. Anyway, good luck, and give Camden a kiss for me, and tell him his aunt Kristen is thinking about him. I'll talk to you soon!
