Not So Bright Eyed and Defiantly Not Bushy Tailed

As those who know us would know, we are not much on mornings around here. None of us are usually up before 8:30-9:00, except Mike. But even when Mike's off, he tends to sleep in more than most. Well, due to tending to an ill child and not much sleep through the night, I have been up since about 6:00 this morning. I am probably going thus far on about 4 1/2 hours of sleep. What sleep I did get was good, but was defiantly not enough. I know this will be much of what it will be like when Merci comes. As Kristen mentioned that Aurora has slept great for her, Camden was much the same for me. I have hopes that Merci will be the same, but those first few weeks are an adjustment, especially when you are not much of a morning person.
So far this morning I haven't done more than make sure Camden is well taken care of and that Mike was up and ready for work. Camden, last night around 1:00, was asking for Daddy. I told Mike if he wanted to lay with him that I would be sure to get him up. This was about the only way that I got what sleep I did get. So, after making sure he was up this morning, I had to check Camden's temperature again. He hadn't had any meds since around 12:30 a.m. and was feeling warm again. Everything is a chore when dealing with someone who is fussing and not feeling well. Needless to say after all the temperature taking, meds, drinks, and a changing, Camden was wide awake. We have already gone through one Blue's Clues DVD and are now finishing Bear in the Big Blue House. I hope to have him back to bed soon for both our sakes. I am hopeful that the fever will break. After almost 6 hours since his last dose of meds his fever was only 100.3 which is the lowest it's been after that long in between doses. I plan to watch him and if he's not any better by tomorrow we will have to call the doctor. I'm still convinced that it's his teeth because he has no other symptoms. Please just pray that this stubborn fever breaks and he's back to being completely himself.
