Playing Catch Up

Phew! I am still wiped out from last weekend! It seems all week I have been dragging. Now it is truly time to play catch up. I actually tried to post about 2 days ago and Blogger was acting up again and I really did not have the patience to try again until now.

The wedding last weekend went extremely well. I was actually really pleased at how smoothly the whole event went. Though it was very hot, we made it through the whole thing with out anyone passing out. Several people brought fans and made sure the entire front portion of the sanctuary was ventilated. I was fortunate enough to have a fan right behind me as I was taking the pictures during the ceremony. Other than having tired feet, I felt pretty good by the end of the night. I worked hard the following few days to edit all the digital pictures, 240 in all. I still have 4 rolls of film to be developed and edited. I am also still finishing up the wedding pictures from April. My biggest task now is finding albums that are simple, yet nice enough to place all of the photos in. I'm sure I will find them if I keep my eyes open. If nothing else I have a few online places I have bookmarked to possibly order from. Here are just a couple more pics from the wedding for ya. These are a few of my favorites, but of course I am a bit partial to black and white's.

The rest of our weekend, was for the most part, was spent just relaxing. Mike, unfortunately, had to open and close on his birthday (Sunday). This meant that anything we did for his birthday was going to be cut short by having to go back to Boardman to close up. We decided to stay home until then and we all rode with him to work where we then proceeded to Auntie and Uncle Frank's for pizza and cake. It was a nice ending to our weekend.

Mike was off yesterday and so we had a really nice family day out. We headed to Boardman for a few errands and then ended up at Petland where Camden just went crazy. He loves all the animals and talked about them the rest of the day. We actually took one of the puppies to a play area. The puppy was a cute little dust mop looking dog. He kept nibbling on all of our toes and Camden said the puppy was "trying to eat me". We then made a quick stop at Family Christian store where we ran into Kimmy's boss. I found this quite funny since she owns a Christian bookstore. Mike and I both found books that we were looking for. I am already into the second chapter of mine. Nothing too interesting for most, but it has proven educational for me already. The book is Creative Correction by Lisa Whelchel. I have been wanting some more creative ways to discipline and I've heard great things about this book. After our book hunting, my husband surprised Camden and I both by taking us to Outback for dinner. This was a nice splurge but we chalked it up as a celebration of Mike's birthday and our upcoming move. We have really been blessed these past few weeks with some extra money and it was nice to having the opportunity to go out, something we do not do very often.

As mentioned, our move is quickly approaching. August 1st is key day. We will be able to start moving in then. I'm not sure exactly how we are going to do this but I hope by the following weekend our move will be all done. I still have much packing to do and the 1st is only a week and a half away. I hope to get lots done today.

Well, if I'm going to get "lots" done I had better get myself off this computer and get going. I hope to have something more interesting to post about next time. But at least Blogger let me get you caught up. Until next time... TTFN.
