Let's see...I did have the blessed opportunity to do some photography work this week. I photographed a couple of sweet lil' babes that were born on Tuesday. Twins, a boy and girl.
When I arrived they were just barely an hour old. How sweet it was. When I had arrived, their proud grandma asked if I'd like to hold the little boy. How could I refuse such an offer?! So tiny and precious. The little girl arrived from the nursery shortly there after. Their mommy got released with them on Thursday but little baby girl had to be taken to Akron Children's Hospital due to a drop in her weight and body temp. So if you wouldn't mind saying a little prayer for her and her family, I am sure they would all appreciate it!

On Wednesday I took some, ehem, last minute Senior pictures for a young fella who hadn't had them done yet. After doing them early Wednesday morning (in the yucky rain) I had to hurry and prepare them so that he try to get them to the school's year book staff. Haha, oh the ways of a teenager.

I actually really enjoyed working with him. He was so very, very polite and such a gentleman. There should defiantly be more young men like this guy! Thanks again for the opportunity Seth!

Thursday I spent most of the day just taking it easy and trying to get things ready for the kids surprise Valentine party. I had invited just a couple of Camden and Merci's friends over for a little get together. It was so adorable and the kids really played well together. But more on that in a little while. The party was on Friday so Thursday I had errands to run to prepare. After a spur of the moment invite, Auntie and Uncle Frank joined me as we headed to fetch a few things from the store. I enjoy their company so much and was so glad to have them join me in my outing. We finished up what we needed and I dropped them off at home (first having a cup of tea before heading home myself). I did not get home until around 10:30. By the time I unloaded everything it was getting late but I felt like I was on a roll. I ended up staying up until after 1:00 a.m. getting the cupcakes made and preparing the little goodie bags for the kids. It must have been the 24 oz. coffee I had! I'm glad that I did because my morning on Friday was not rushed with things to do.

The Valentine's party was so much fun for my kids. I love that they both are getting old enough to enjoy such things. We had heart-shaped PBJ's, strawberries and chocolate dip (mainly for the Mommies!), snacks, and cupcakes. They made Valentine's that some how all ended up staying here! They opened their goodies bags and watched Lady and the Tramp. It was relaxing, at least I think so, for the Mommies. I enjoyed the conversation with such sweet friends.

I guess I should figure out what we are doing for dinner. The hubby and I never go out on Valentine's day. These days, any time we get to go out alone to dinner is a holiday. So we will spend the night in with the kids. I haven't given them their Valentines from Mommy and Daddy yet. We'll do that tonight after Daddy gets home. So for those of you enjoying this special day in your own special way, enjoy yourselves. Oh and Auntie...thank you. ;)
Until next time...TTFN
