~Aloha~

OK, picture this. The sky is bright blue. The ocean is also blue, aqua blue and is crashing against a white sandy shore. You can not tell where the ocean stops on the horizon and where the sky begins. Now picture a cute, young couple saying there wedding vows on this sandy beach in Hawaii. That is exactly what Mike's friend Dave (from work) and his wife did on August 12th. Instead of the traditional wedding, they opted for a beach ceremony with just the two of them in Hawaii. Tonight they invited friends and family to come to their new home, that they just purchased, for a celebration. It was kind of like their reception I guess you would say. Everything was decorated with a Hawaiian theme. Amanda, the bride, wore the cute little beach dress that she wore for their ceremony. She looked so darn cute. They played a DVD of their ceremony for everyone to watch and there was Hawaiian music playing in the background outside. We knew no one except the groom and bride, but we actually had a really nice time. We dressed our best to be "Hawaiian". It was a lot of fun. We had lots of yummy desserts. There was everything from some banana pudding dessert, to cheesecake, to cream puffs, to pies, and of course cake. There was no way I could have tried everything. I don't think anyone could have. So that was our lovely evening. Here are just a few pictures I took of us before we left.

That wedding sounds so cool. The celebration-reception had to be a lot of fun too.
