P-A-R-T-Y ! !

Today I've been busy trying to get things cleaned up. We spent most of the early afternoon downstairs playing before I got to cleaning. Camden loves going to the basement and playing in house and with all of the toys in the play area. I tried to clean up a little while we were done there. About an hour into my being down there, the dog began barking like someone was here. I knew right away who it was. Sure enough I was right, it was my Daddy. :0) Though, I was a bit suprised because he coming tomorrow for our early birthday party for Camden. See, my dad is known for popping in on Saturdays from time to time. It's always nice to have him stop. We usually just spend the afternoon shooting the breeze and drinking coffee. I love my Dad so much!!

I do need to work on getting the rest of the house ready for tomorrow. As I mentioned, we are celebrating Camden's birthday a month early because I do not want 20 people at my house all at once with a new baby. I'm a bit particular about that. When Camden was born, I forefitted going to my in-law's for Thanksgiving when Camden was born. He was only 4 weeks old and I didn't feel comfortable taking him out yet. It will be no different with Merci. So, we planned months ago to celebrate his birthday with family and friends early. So tomorrow some of our close friends and family members will be coming over for a Bob the Builder birthday for our little man. It's soo hard to believe that he is going to be 3. He is such a big, big boy! Next month when his actual birthday comes we will do something special with just Mommy and Daddy here at home.

Mike just left to run to the laundromat to wash a couple loads of our clothes and all of Merci's things that we've put off. After this week's false alarm, I want to be ready. Her bag is packed except clothes because they needed washed. So after tonight we will be completely ready. I purchased diapers and wipes this week and we've got them already for when she gets home. I washed all her bottles, not that they will get used much since I plan on nursing. I just want to have everything ready. I think I'm really nesting. I moved furniture around in our living room the other day. I think a couple of people were about to strangle me when they found out. Oh well. If I go into labor, I go into labor. I know my body and I'd never do anything that would hurt myself or Merci. At this point, if anything I do speeds up my labor then great! Not that I am doing anything intentionally with that purpose in mind.

Well, my little monkey needs his bath and we want to get him to bed early tonight since he will have a big day tomorrow and most likely no nap. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
